FOR INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION AND REPROCESSING
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that helps individuals process traumatic experiences. During an EMDR session, the therapist guides the client through a series of eye movements, taps, or sounds while the client focuses on the traumatic memory. This process helps the brain reprocess the memory in a more adaptive way, reducing the emotional distress associated with the memory. EMDR has been shown to be effective in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
FOR COUPLE’S COUNSELING
EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED THERAPY
Clinicians utilizing EFT: Ryan
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a type of attachment-based therapy that focuses on improving emotional bonds between individuals. It is often used to help couples who are experiencing relationship difficulties. EFT is based on the idea that emotions are at the core of our experiences and that, by understanding and expressing our emotions, we can improve our relationships and overall well-being.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy is a personalized approach to care focused on the unique experiences and needs of each individual showing up. The therapeutic relationship provides collaborative, one-on-one support in the form of holding space for emotions, recognizing patterns, and increasing understanding and capacity for emotions held in the body. Whether you’re experiencing disconnection from yourself or others, low motivation, overwhelming thoughts, or stressful life events, individual therapy can help with increasing self awareness and tuning back into your body’s wisdom to attune to your needs both individually and relationally.
COUPLES & SEX THERAPY
Offered by Ryan
Couples therapy is a valuable tool for improving communication and strengthening relationships. Whether you're struggling with conflict, infidelity, or simply feeling disconnected, therapy can help you and your partner learn to communicate more effectively, deepen your emotional connection, and create a more satisfying life together. Sex therapy is a type of counseling that helps individuals and couples address sexual issues and improve their sexual function and satisfaction. It can assist with talking about sexual concerns, exploring sexual attitudes and beliefs, and learning new skills and techniques to enhance sexual experiences. Sex therapy can be helpful for a range of issues, including low libido, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and difficulty achieving orgasm.

THERAPY INTENSIVES
Trauma intensives are therapy sessions that extend past the traditional time limits of therapy allowing more time to focus on specific memories or concerns. They can assist with reintegrating past experiences that hold pain into the present allowing us the chance to respond in ways we needed back then. Intensives can last between 4-8 hours and include a variety of modalities including EMDR, IFS, and other somatic therapies. They may be right for you if you’ve been feeling stuck in weekly therapy, never feel like there’s enough time to process in one session, or feel limited by the current structure of individual therapy.
GROUP THERAPY
Group therapy offers support to a group of individuals with a common or shared experience. Engaging in therapy alongside others going through something similar can provide validation, accountability, and connection. Group sessions can range in what is offered, but may include receiving and offering support, practicing new skills, and learning new information. Group therapy supports the theory that we often do not heal in isolation. From an attachment perspective we need connection and having a space to be witnessed in our pain can be regulating to the nervous system.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Clinical supervision is an essential component of professional development for therapists. It provides a safe and supportive environment for clinicians to reflect on their practice, receive feedback, and enhance their skills. Whether you are a new or experienced therapist, clinical supervision can help you improve your clinical practice and ultimately benefit the individuals you work with. We have both a supervisor to support LCMHCAs and LCSWAs.
